Dr. Neuburger questions if there is a medical knowledge that includes love. In ancient times, medicine had no inquiry to investigate a subjectivity that travels beyond the principles of scientific universality. While engaging and extrapolating from Lacan´s discourse theory, Neuburger will explore the psychoanalytic work in a public hospital, while substantiating the dissimilarities between the medical and analytic discourse.
