Logging in
Two easy ways to sign in, with or without a password, and what to do the first time.
Your account uses the email address the School has on file for you, the same one that receives School mail. There is no separate username.
The easiest way: a sign-in link
On the log in page, choose Email me a sign-in link. Enter your email address, and we send you a link; click it and you are signed in. No password needed, ever.
A few things to know:
- The link works for 15 minutes and for one click. If it expires, or you need another, just request a new one.
- If it doesn’t arrive within a minute or two, check your spam folder for a message from the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis.
Prefer a password?
You can also sign in the usual way, with your email and a password.
Setting a password for the first time: most members’ accounts were created for them, so there is no password yet. Click Forgot your password? on the log in page, enter your email, and follow the emailed link to choose one. The same steps reset a forgotten password later.
If something isn’t working
- No email arrives. Check spam first. Then make sure you are entering the address the School has on file for you; that address is your login.
- “This link has expired.” Sign-in links are single-use and short-lived. Request a fresh one from the log in page.
- You would rather log in with a different email address. Once signed in, you can change your login email; we verify the new address before switching anything.
